We are all facing this situation of a global pandemic because of coronavirus. This virus started from a lab in Wuhan, China, and has now spread all around the world. According to all the cases that have been found, it is clear that the virus spreads from one person to another when they are in close physical contact. Another way that this virus can enter your system is through respiratory droplets that come out of an infected person. Any person who inhales these droplets can easily catch the infection and fall sick. It is important for us to stay safe and practice some precautions if we want to stay safe from this serious illness. After China & America, India has become the most affected country. More than 9.27 million people were suffering from the Coronavirus, in which 8.68Million patients have been recovered.
Wash your hands regularly
Make sure that you wash your hands regularly after every few hours, rub your hands with soap for at least twenty seconds, and then rinse off. If you have been coughing, blowing your nose, sneezing, or been in a public place, you need to immediately wash your hands. In case there is no soap and water available, you need to use the hand sanitizer. Only use the sanitizers that have at least sixty percent alcohol.
Maintain social distancing
You need to stay at least six feet away from all the people when in a public place and refrain from having any sort of physical contact with someone who is sick. It is better to always cover your mouth and hands whenever you are out in public, as this will reduce the chances of an infection. Also, do not ever touch your mouth, nose, or eyes when your hands are unwashed or when you are out of your safe space. You need to avoid any kind of outing until and unless it is extremely required and urgent.
Take care of your loved ones.
Most of the cases of coronavirus patients do not even show symptoms in the beginning, and these are the people who spread the virus mostly. You need to stay safe and take all the precautions when you are with someone. This is not just for your sake but for the safety of your family members and loved ones as well. Also, you need to take special care of the children under two years of age and adults who are older than sixty years. The threat of coronavirus is more dangerous for them than it is for others, and it is your responsibility to keep them safe.
Make masks at home
It is mandatory that you cover your face whenever you are out in public. This is just going to help you in staying safe from the virus. If there are no ready-made masks available in the market, you can easily make one for yourself at home. All you need is a cloth and some thread and a needle. Also, make sure that you always use a tissue whenever sneezing and throw it afterward in a dustbin that has a lid. Do not hesitate to ask for medical help if you feel even a little bit of sick in this situation.
